This beautifully carved Prie-dieu or Prayer chair was broken with the back separating from the seat and broken rear legs, with some blocks of carved scrolling missing from the front legs.<\/p>\n
The deep forest green velvet has been over printed by hand using a resist dye technique in a random feather allover pattern.<\/p>\n
We have chosen not to hide the repairs\u00a0 or to replace the missing pieces – we all have our hard-earned wrinkles and scars after all.<\/p>\n
